Here's my travelling bio: We like to take family (2 kids under 10 years) on annual trips from Toronto, Ontario to U.S. destinations like Florida (Orlando, Clearwater, St. Pete's, Ft. Lauderdale), South Carolina, etc. We just came back from New York city and Atlantic City week long trip. We drive to these destinations -- much cheaper than flying (eg. 4 of us to New York city in 8.5 hours and cost only $221 in gas roundtrip!). We fly to Europe destinations like Rome, Greece, etc. Also, spent 2 weeks in Vegas a few years back with the kids and they loved it. Stretching our travelling budget allows us to vacation more often. We like 4-star hotels and we tend to travel slightly off peak season to get best pricing.
