Transportation to hotel

For the first timer in Korea, often taking a Taxi can be daunting, and quite often the meter will be turned off. Use the frequent Limousine bus services from the airport to most of the major hotels in Seoul and Busan. Also, it is cheap. Korean Airlines also runs this service in Seoul, from Incheon airport

this is so true, last time i used a taxi from the airport it was a battle to have the meter turned on, in the end was ok, drivers cabs also broke down about 100m from the lotte hotel and he had to push us in !

In case you do rush for time and the schedule of the limousine bus does not fit, taxi is still a choice. However, you must be careful of which line to wait and which type of taxi to take from Incheon airport to Seoul.

The cheapest is to wait at line 7C. The total cost can be double if you get onto a Prestige taxi at 8C or other taxis that are not coming from Seoul. You need to be specific at the line as all these taxis with their heads and tails of the line very close to each other.

Concur. The KAL Airport bus is the way to go. Fast, efficient & safe. Ensure that you have Korean money for the ticket however - they don't accept other currencies.
