Don't Rent a Car in London

We recommendation that you do not rent a car while visiting London. It can add hundreds of dollars to your stay.

Overall, it's best to stick with London transport system. Even though you might have to squeeze on a crowded bus or a hot underground subway, at least you aren’t going to have empty pockets by the end of the week due to parking fees. Metered parking rates run about $6.00 an hour in London. So don't rent, ride instead.
