If you enjoy chilling out to music, you can try out Insomnia in Chijmes. There are 2 bands playing - a resident local band and another band that inter-change every few other months. Harry's Bar Orchard Tower is another fav. hangout. The band is famous since the 90's - gosh i forgot the name of the band. Crowd are mostly expats.

Another place is Bar None in Marriott Hotel. Currently, local malay band By Definition (otherwise known as By Def) is playing there. They are group winners of the Singapore's talent competition 'Live the Dream'. Definitely a must see. Crowd is mostly local ... lots of malays hangs out there.
