Takkyubin (courier service)

When travelling domestic, be sure to ask for the Takkyubin Service (next day delivery baggage courier service). Other than the aiport train, most trains have very limited space for luggage. The Takkyubin Service has a next day delivery system to most parts of Japan and it is quite reasonable. If you can separate the items you need for the day, it is recommended that you send the others to your next destination. Usual cut off time for collection is 16:30 and will arrive at the next destination about noon or afternoon. Check with your Concierge/Bellman for details.
